What is permanent jewelry?

No worries, we understand. For you commitment-phobes, we got a clasp option for you! You can get creative and customize your chain with a clasp included & delivered straight to your door!
What if my chain breaks?
Your LINK is crafted with care to endure, but let's be real, your chain is dainty & certainly no Hercules! Once your LINK is welded on, it's your job to keep it safe. So, watch out for snags or yanks that could damage your delicate chain. We offer a 30 day free re-weld and warranty if your LINK breaks. LINKS broken after 30 days of your initial appointment will include a $10 re-welding fee. If your bracelet is pulled or stretched beyond repair a new bracelet will be needed for purchase.
How long does a link last?
However long you chose! With TLC, your LINK may last anywhere from 2-5 years.
Is the process of getting linked painful?
A common misconception is that permanent means painful; this is not the case. A chain is made permanent once it is welded onto your body. The two ends of your LINK will be fused together using a welder; Giving off a small *spark to make your bracelet permanent!
How many pieces can I get in one appointment?
Appointments are booked individually or in groups. Single appointments are eligible for 3 pieces & groups of two are eligible for 2 pieces a person. If you would like more than 3 pieces you will have to book an additional appointment. Parties larger than two are limited to 2 pieces per person.
What materials do you use?
Our LINKS are made of 14k gold filled, sterling silver and rose gold filled chains.
Want to remove your link?
If at any point you need your LINK removed (surgery, MRI), simply snip it off using sharp scissors. If you plan to have it re-welded, carefully snip the small jump ring that connects the two ends of the chain to maintain the integrity. Don’t forget to store your LINK in a zip-lock bag.
What about airport security and MRI’s?
Our LINKs are airport friendly and will not affect your ability to get through security.
We recommend that you speak with your doctor and ask if you will need to remove you permanent jewelry during your X-ray or MRI appointment.
Many of our clients have not been required to remove their permanent jewelry but that is up to the discretion of your doctor.
If you are required to remove your permanent jewelry, simply cut the jump ring and store it in a zip-lock bag. We will gladly re-weld it on you for our $10 service fee. Book an appointment or bring it to one of our next pop-up events!
Are there any permanent jewelry restrictions?
Children under the age of 12 are unable to recieve permanent jewelry without the consent of a parent or guardian.
Those on pacemakers are unable to receive permanent jewelry.
What if I change my mind after my piece is welded on?
Once your chain is fit to your liking, cut and welded on, all sales are final. If you no longer wish to keep your piece welded on, simply snip it with scissors. Additional costs apply for re-welds and repairs.
